Affiliate Disclosure
When you buy something through a link on Cinema Shirts, we may earn a commission from the retailer. It never costs you anything extra.
How it works
Cinema Shirts participates in affiliate programs including the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, CJ Affiliate, Rakuten Advertising, and the eBay Partner Network, among others. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. When you click a “buy” link and purchase from the retailer, the retailer pays us a small percentage of the sale. The price you pay is exactly the same either way.
Not every link earns — some pieces are only sold by retailers with no affiliate program, and we link them anyway, because the point of this site is telling you where the clothes are.
Where we link
We link wherever the real piece actually lives. That means the maker’s own store when the screen-worn brand still sells it (Birkenstock, Persol, Oliver Peoples, Cockpit USA, Champion, Juicy Couture), official franchise shops for licensed replicas (the Netflix shop, the NBC Store, AFC Richmond’s store), major retailers for closest matches (Amazon, Target, Nordstrom, J.Crew, Farfetch, Todd Snyder, Abracadabra NYC), and eBay when a piece is vintage or discontinued and resale is the only honest answer.
Every link is verified live when it’s added and re-checked by a monthly audit, and each product page says whether the item is the exact screen piece or the closest match we could find.
What commissions never change
An item appears in this catalog for exactly one reason: a character wears it on screen. We verify every identification against the footage, label anything that isn’t the exact garment as a “closest match”, and no retailer, network, or commission rate has ever decided what makes the cut. If a screen-worn piece is only available somewhere that pays us nothing, it’s in the catalog anyway.
